ups and downs and ups and downs and ups
23 to 25 April 2005

We got a taste of Japan in Japan Town before getting to Tokyo

shopping days in San Francisco
21 to 22 April 2005

We stayed in Ling’s friend, Tony’s crib. Saved us quite some money. Actually, quite a lot of money.
Trolley ticket. Muni tickets.
too expensive or too lazy to do anything exciting?
18 to 19 April 2005
Why didn’t we go diving in Puerto Vallarta? I’ve read about the great dives here
and was prepared to do at least one. Was it really because it was too expensive?
Now, come to think of it, S$52 to S$74 for a dive or two, although there was no
guarantee we’ll see manta rays, wasn’t that expensive. Or was it? Hmm…

And we ended up doing nothing exciting. Just more shopping and walking aimlessly around.
giant apartment in Puerto Vallarta
17 April 2005
Our last accommodation in Mexico was the biggest room we had this trip.
It’s in Puerto Vallarta. Hotel Cartagena. Balcony, bedroom, living room,
dining room, kitchen, bathroom and lobby, all in a longish apartment.
