getting to Pantanal was half the fun

First, it was a long queue for the bus tickets. Then it was an awfully uncomfortable 21-hour bus ride to Campo Grande. Then a three hours plus minibus and changed to a jeep for another four more hours of bumpy and
dusty road. And we were in mosquito infested Pantanal.

The most exciting thing that we did on Christmas was going to Pao de Acucar. And I saw people climbing a multipitch.

Our first long distance bus journey in South America. It was 21 hours of stomach churning.

It was hammock sleeping in our Pantanal ‘home’. Hot, sweaty, stuffy and swarmed with mosquitoes.

Went piranha fishing in piranha infested waters. I even caught one.
